Nick and Louis challenge!

Our adventure starts on March 10th as we head off from Highcliffe Castle following the coastline heading west into Dorset and beyond.

Our current estimation is that the total distance is 3,048 of coastline including the 84 miles to cross from West to East along Hadrian’s Wall before heading back down the East coast and onto the last leg which is the South coast back to Milford on Sea.

Assuming we can average 13 miles a day over the entire distance (no rest days included) we hope to be back in approximately 7 and half months.

Staying in Hotels, Pubs, B&Bs, AirBnB and the odd night with friends and family the entire trip is completely self funded.

Check the Gallery page for daily updates and pictures.

Back in 2015 the outlook was given as a 3–5-year life expectancy so every day was a blessing that needed to be approached head on with positivity...

I was let go in a place I didn’t recognise and did not know how to get home. I was picked up by a stranger and taken to somewhere called a rescue centre where after a while a very kind family took me home where I had a great time playing with their other dogs.

It was only supposed to be temporary, but I was with them for 6 months and then on one fateful day in September 2022...

Cancer doesn’t wait in line.

Shockingly only 1 in 10 women know the main symptoms of ovarian cancer - stomach pain, bloating, loss of appetite and frequent weeing are all symptoms of ovarian cancer. If you’re experiencing anything unusual your doctor wants to see you.

Early diagnosis Is vital

If a women’s ovarian cancer is diagnosed at stage 1 she has a 90% chance of surviving for five years or more but at stage 4 survival rate is as low as 4%. Early diagnosis saves lives.

OCA are funding research
